The Village Farm Winery has well and truly captured the essence of life in the French countryside on the mountain slopes of Khao Yai, an area of Thailand famous for its national parks. The Village Farm covers 80 acres of high ground over 500 meters above sea level- along the ridges at the edge of the world renowned Khorat Plateau about 230 KM's from Bangkok. The charming estate is home to a traditional barn- style restaurant, tasting rooms, cellars and accommodations that are both rustic and elegant. The European style winery, in fact looks like a classic French chateau and is named Chateau des Brumes (or chateau in the mist). Visitors from all over Thailand and around the world head here often for a 'farm stay' to absorb a unique experience of Thai country life. The Village Farm has expa...

Yes, it is very expensive if we have in mind this is Thailand. Yeah, I know, the Life Center (south east corner of Lumphini Park, Bangkok, Thailand) is very bit poppy, so I guess I should have known. :-) HappyCow - Ariya Organic Cafe: http://www.happycow.net/reviews/ariya-organic-cafe-bangkok-16517 Stop the crap and GO High Carb Low Fat VEGAN! \/3g4|\| 4 tH3 \/\/1n --------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out my other videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC081JmnzmyNuP5pEX4PT1lw Vegan - whole foods plant based! Durian is one of the most unique, fascinating, and delicious fruits in the world. Here's the full durian article: http://wp.me/psd9b-4U0 Durian is a fruit that's native and extremely common throughout parts of Southeast Asia, especially Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The durian fruit has received a bit of a bad reputation as many people on television have mentioned how bad it smells and even how bad it tastes... but I'm here to tell you, durian is the most amazing, unique, and I think it's one of the most delicious fruits in the world. I've been living in Southeast Asia, mostly in Bangkok, Thailand, since 2009, and since that time I've gotten to eat my fair share of durian fruit, most times being a sensational experience. I remember my first time to taste durian, I wa...

Extremely good organic red rice. Quite cheap and very tasty food. A bit too salty though. But with enough rice you can have a very nice combination. We had the Tom Yam soup and a roasted mushroom spread. The spread was obviously very salty. ;-D Here is the web site: https://www.maykaidee.com/ We visited the Bangkok Tanao restaurant located in the heart of Bangkok: https://www.google.dk/maps/place/Mai+Kaidee+(Tanao)/@13.7590862,100.4978923,17z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x30e29913255a289f:0x9e092f47346afa29 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out my other videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC081JmnzmyNuP5pEX4PT1lw Vegan - whole foods plant based! Jon Jandai explores the idea that modern life has taken us too far from our roots in the land. Jon Jandai is foremost a farmer, secondly a widely known earthen builder in Thailand. He is from Yasothorn province in Thailand and has been farming all of his life. He also began building earthen homes on his family farm in 1997. He began doing workshops on earthen building in 2002, initially traveling the country and voluntarily teaching farmers, villager groups and NGO, creating what is now a widespread earthen building movement in Thailand. He co-founded Pun Pun in July 2003 and is most interested in preserving our heritage in seeds. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
In February 2012 I was invited to visit Adams Organic Farm in Pak Thong Chai, Thailand. Being curious about organic farming practices here in the Kingdom, I was interested in having a behind the scenes look. I'm very impressed by their efforts and hope that the market for organics continues to grow here.
